On last Wednesday my group and I had to lead on reading discussion.  Our reading was Dr. Seuss's The Butter Battle, as of all his books they have deeper meaning.  Well this specific one lead us into discussion started by as the question " Why do we go to war?" Why does it seem as if it is a war between the same people they just act different.  The butter side up people hate the butter side down people simple because the butter side down people eat the butter side bread facing downward.  To me it really makes no sense at all, it seems as if people pick things they don't like about a person and hold it against them.  Just as the people in the story judges, people in society judges.  People will judge you based on how you look, how you dress, color of your skin, or gender but no matter what people are judgemental and see what they want.  On the other hand you could have looked at it as both sides were affecting the environment.
